Positioning – Where we are. The navigation is а relative notion. Our position depends on the chosen coordinate system.
Navigation – Movement from one point to another in a determined coordinate system. The navigation needs full navigational information – linear accelerations, velocities and coordinates, angular velocities and coordinates of the object.
Time – The time determines the space. For navigation we need timing. Time is essential for all navigational systems.
